Sorry I only use GoodReads now. I think I may have signed up for Shelfari at one time or another but never liked it much. :-/

I still have both ~ two different groups of people.

GR is my Obsessed friends. I think I clicked on someone link in their siggy.

Good Reads works well for me too I have my at home database of books but like that GR allowed me to just import all my information ( what shelf, ratings, date read etc and so on) without a hitch. I would have been less likely to list books there, if it meant recreating records dating back 5 yrs.

I'm torn between Goodreads and LibraryThing myself. I have bookpedia on my home computer (good program btw!). I don' think I'm on shelfari, but I'm curious about this 1001 group you mention. =) Please feel free to link to my spreadsheets btw.

I am a member on both sites.
Shelfari has improved lots in the last few months but what I like about Goodreads is that I can show which page I am reading of a certain book.
On shelfari I like the groups better compared to GR.

A negative thing is, on Goodreads it is very easy to find a certain title on your shelves, that is not the case on your shelfari shelf.

I decided to stay with shelfari cause I did meet some nice people.
Rigth now I am a member of the true crime group and also the Biographies, Autobiographies, & Memoir group.

On Goodreads I am a librarian. On Shelfari they really think/work with you to make the site better.
