I probably won't either...I'll probably just manage to get myself there. I just learned that I have to deliver approximately 29 proposals between 23 March and 18 April. Ugh!!! I will soooooooooooo need a vacation!

AlterEgoZoe - March 19, 2007 08:39 PM (GMT)
I'm not going, but I did send one book to the organizers. Its called over the edge I don't remember the author, though.

needmorezoloft - March 19, 2007 08:56 PM (GMT)
Is there anyone on here who lives there?

If so... I was wondering if you would mind if I sent you a few books to release for me at the convention.

Like I said, I'm just going to bring all of my availables (adding to the pile every day), so if you want something, let me know. I'll wild release whatever is left.

Ap, to tell you the truth, I hardly ever look at my Cliff's list anymore. I'm sure I'm interested in the books on there, but most of my real wants are on my pbs wishlist. (Not that those are any easier. )

Hey...since one year I took Cheesy Jr. to the con...and we even had a mini-WoM and a mini-DumbFox..does someone want to take a mini-EllyMae? I could be there in spirit, participating by proxy!

I've been checking flights thinking maybe I could go last minute..but they are still over $500 and I'm not paying that for a weekend, not to mention hotel costs too. :(

What does a mini-EM58 look like?

Keep checking...there may be some weekend fairs that would get you close enough to Charleston to make it worthwhile. If you don't already, you should subscribe to the airline notices for the major airlines in your area. they will mail out notices of special weekend fares for the upcoming weekend. If you are flexible enough to travel on short notice, you can get some GREAT deals.

Not ALL of my books have pink covers! I event found a book for Turtle (which I've started reading now). Oops, the writing on the back of the book is in pink.

BTW Turtle: Can you say "Goat Cheese, Chirizo, and Black Bean Terrine." Unfortunately, there are no recipes in the book. :duh:
