Alibris Books www.alibris.com has new, used and out of print books. They are always having some sort of coupon special. I ordered a textbook from them a couple years ago and still get the coupon code emails I will post them as I get them.

Is anyone else having problems with alibris?

First, I ordered a book that I thought was a hardcover. An ARC arrived. When I questioned why it hadn't said it was an ARC, I was told that I hadn't read the second page of the book's description (which, since you didn't need to look at it in order to order, is bait-and-switch, according to the Tour Manager).

Then they told one of my book club ladies she'd ordered a book. And cancelled the order a week later.

Today, my order arrived. Three different books for my book club. One was Catcher in the Rye. Somehow, I now own five copies of the Cliff's Notes for this book. And conveniently, there are no other books with that specific alibris product ID left in stock. I'm thinking I got bait-and-switched again; we're going to fight them on this. There's no way I was careless enough to order Cliff's Notes.

I don't use Alibris that often, but when I do, I usually use private sellers, and twice I've ended up with duds that had to be returned.
