Title: Hey Antheras - Re: May Day Exchange
Description: Issues with your wish list
PepperVL - March 5, 2007 05:43 AM (GMT)
I was talking to your May Day partner tonight, and we discovered that when we go to look at your wish list in Firefox, it blacks out around L when sorted by author. If we use IE, it gives us an error about the scripts on the page taking a long time to load and we have to stop the scripts... and then the page still takes a long time to load.
You might want to contact Cliff about that... I'm not sure if it's because your wish list is too big or what, but your partner and I both got the same error, but the thing in Firefox was in a slightly different spot for both of us, so it's probably not an error that you made.

:giggle: glad to see I'm not the only one with a massive wishlist.

The issue wasn't so much that her person couldn't get the list (we could both view it in IE, it just takes a while), more that we wanted to let Antheras know so she could possibly resolve the problem.
Thanks, though. :)

Yeah, it's been like that ever since Cliff switched to the new system. It's due to the size of my list. Not sure what the answer is to be honest - other than reducing the size.
Thanks for mentioning it!

Sorry, I guess I didn't read your original post thoroughly

I've gotten that error too when accessing wish lists..when the "abort" box comes up, I tell it no and then the rest of the list appears.

Since I prefer Firefox over IE, the "print this" link morsie posted is actually a good alternative to be able to view the entire list in Firefox, so I don't have to launch IE. Thank you for bringing that up morsie.
