waaah! But I can't fit any more books on my wishlist at PBS. Damn 200 limit!! :whip: So I started pulling some of the large print copies off since I have multiple versions for each listed. *sigh*
So here you are giving me more fodder for my wishlist, and making more work for me at PBS. Why I oughta.... :whip: :whip: :bash:

You know what? That site kind of gave me an idea...

I've already got an Amazon Associates account, but what if I set up a separate ID, and we linked all the releases from our new released thread, to the relevant Amazon page. That way, (a) it's easier for people to get all the info about a book from it's Amazon page and (B) any commissions made from people buying stuff from following the link can be put aside towards a fund for this forum?
I really like that idea. LMK if you do too...
And yes, I'll do all the work in the links, and show you all you have to do to take a regular link and turn it into a commissioned one, usually just a matter of adding the tracking ID to the end of the URL.

I hate the 200 book limit. As soon as a book from my wishlist gets posted and I have a spot free, I fill it up with something from my reminder list. But I'm missing out on getting in line for a few books because I don't have space to add them.

It's Not Chick Porn is a great review site.
I wasn't sure if was applicable for this forum or another, but since we're enabling, I figured I might as well post it here.
She reviews Succubus Blues, a debut book from author Richelle Mead, which she gives an A, and she gives those grudgingly. It should be arriving on my doorstep today as I preordered it from Amazon. I couldn't resist a book about sex from a witchy woman with the last name of "Mead".
Oh and she actually dissed Harriet Klausner in
that review for not reading half the books she reviews. :bash:

I have to say this site is a hoot. They don't pull any punches, that's for sure. I love the review of LKH's Strange Candy.
"It gave me hope—however fruitless—that Ms. Hamilton will crawl out of her own ass one day and write Anita Blake the way she used to be. Not that I’m holding my breath or anything."
I'm going to bookmark this site on my home computer. Thanks for sharing it, Cherie.

Here is another vampire list, not that much a great review site, as more a chronological order of books that came out starting from the late 80s.

Since quite a few of you participated in my Nymphos of Rocky Flats ring, I thought I'd let you know that I'm reading the sequel right now, and when I started doing some research for a review, I found out that there is a third one in progress with the publisher and they've told him to get to work on a fourth. Looks like this is going to be a long series.

It's already made its way home, but I'd be happy to send it to you as soon as I'm finished with my review. I want to browse it a bit for the sequel's review, and I may be doing an author interview, so I may pull from it for that.
Does anyone else want to read it? I can start a new ring with the Nymphos by themselves and start another ring with X-Rated Blood Suckers, or I can send them around as a package deal. As soon as I get some input, I'll post it in the ring section.

I can't wait to read X-Rated Blood Suckers! I've got it at home as well waiting on me, but have several bookrings in front of it unfortunately.

Okay I'll keep an eye out for whatever you decide to do. I noticed that If no one else wants to do a ring for it, I'm more than happy to just treat it as a borrow and then send it back on home to you. Whatever you decide.... and thank you!!
PS - Oh and if you do do a ring, I'm fine with International shipping....
ETA - Oh and this looks so interesting that I'm sure I'd be up for the sequel as well, so if you do a ring for that one as well, or do them both together, then include me in that too! :D Thank you!
