Title: Everybook VBB - Round 2-03 - Starts 1 March 2007
Description: play, sex, chatter, whateva... all here!

nwpassage - February 28, 2007 10:09 PM (GMT)
Welcome to the 3rd round of year 2 of the VBB - Starting 1 March 2007

Sorry I haven't been around much... but I'd like to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU  to all who've picked up my slack (chambejd and rosie come immediately to mind, and I'm sure there's others as well)

sarradee, start us off anytime on the 1st!!! What books will you choose from the box?!?

The Rules:

(1) I will post a list of books and the order of the box participants on the first of the month.
(2) Each person may take as many books out of the box as they want; however, you must put in the same number of books. This means that you may be responsible for shipping the number of books that you have put in. You control how many books you are willing to ship by only taking out/putting in that number of books.
(3) Play may continue perpetually. You can choose to skip your turn by not taking any books out of the box and passing the turn on to the next person.
(4) The next round will begin on the first of the month following the end of play (e.g. If round 1 ends on Dec 30, round 2 will start on Jan 1. However, if round 1 doesn't end until Jan 15, round 2 will start on February 1).
(5) Every, any, and all books can be put in the box! Fiction, Nonfiction, whatever! However, any books not taken after 2 rounds will be replaced by the person who put the book in. (Asterisks are used to indicate how many rounds a book has been in the bookbox.) To Be Reads are okay but should be marked as such!
(6) You have 24 hours from the time the person before you posts their move in the thread to make your move. If you haven't made your move in that amount of time, you may be moved to the end of the list. If you don't show up at all for a round, you will be removed from the list for the next round. However, if you want to rejoin at any time, you will be free to do so.
(7) New participants are welcome and can join at any time! If we are in the middle of a round, they will be added to the end of the list. If we are between rounds, they will be randomized into the list like everyone else.
(8) The list of participants will be randomized at the end of each round.
(9) Once you've taken your turn, please PM the next person to let them know it's their turn. If you can't PM them for some reason, please say so when you post your move, so someone else can!

Just popping in here real quick.... here for about 2 hrs then I gotta go get my check and some groceries before Mother Nature buries us too bad again. They are calling for 15-22" in our area tonight .... on top of the 19" we got Thurs-Fri.

If Rosie makes it in to take her turn before I go ... I'll try to hurry too. If not I'll do mine when we get back :)

msjoanna - March 1, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Just stopping in to say hello. It's so thrilling to have someone pick my books -- I really wanted them to find new homes with people who actually wanted to read them. :D

Our (dh & I) entire families live in Minnesota. I just got off the phone with my neice who is south of the Twin Cities, they didn't have school today because of ice, and it's snowing like crazy there now. They got only 6" from the last storm and are expecting another 12-15" from this storm.

Stay safe redhot-brat!!!!

We already got 6" here and now they are saying this storm won't end till Mon. Hubby has shoveled our walk/steps 7 times already today & already they got a good half inch on them again.

Thanks for the thoughts .... we'll be fine. We planned ahead. user posted image

We're all stocked up , snuggled in , and prepped with a giant pan of homemade soup to warm up the kids when they finish the igloo they are digging into our front yard. The pics of them I took earlier are soooo cute. Took somew of our dogs too , though they are on the well shoveled deck, they aren't as keen to go play in it as my kids are. (my avatar now)

We had school close today too & not looking like they are going tomorrow either.

with:
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguru (TBR) (Krin511)

Chronicbooker3 skips this round.

Redhot-Brat replaces:

The Outlaw's Bride by Liz Ireland (redhot-brat)
Rocheworld by Robert L. Forward (redhot-brat)
Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy (redhot-brat)
Black Eagles (HC) by Larry Collins (redhot-brat)

If you can't PM them for some reason, please say so when you post your move, so someone else can!

redhot-brat - March 5, 2007 02:46 AM (GMT)
I don't think crookedfrog checks in a whole lot. I've been in 2 other Boxes/Swaps that have been stuck waiting a day or two for her also. Just thought it might bare mentioning. Not trying to pick on them , just wanted ppeople to know to expect waits if they are on the list.

momx3lovesbooks - March 5, 2007 03:59 AM (GMT)
I emailed thecrookedfrog through her myspace page today. She was logged in there, so I am surprised she didn't come right over.

wss4 - March 5, 2007 04:31 AM (GMT)
Since it has been well over 48 hours with no response from crookedfrog I am going to go ahead and bump the list.

I've pm'd Suefitz that it is her turn!
