Armchair Interviews
Speak Through the Wind is a story of a young orphan girl by the name of Kassandra being rescued from a terrible accident by a preacher. Reverend Joseph invites Kassandra to live with him after recovering from an accident that had burned her eyes and face. As she grows up in the loving house of the Reverend and his servant Clara, Kassandra becomes a follower of Christ. Thing change for Kassandra after she thinks she has killed the servant Clara and believes she has fallen in love with the delivery boy Ben.
Ben convinces Kassandra to leave with him and to be loved and taken care of. As Kassandra decides to do this, she leads her life down a path of destruction and takes herself so far from Christ that she thinks she will never get back to the life she had. Through the loss of her baby son and the rejection of Ben not marrying her, Kassandra begins her life as a prostitute. Throughout the story Kassandra must face what haunts her about Clara, the love Reverend Joseph has for her, and the struggle to finally face God in the life she leads.
