Title: Argh...TT
Description: just venting

I can't believe this happened...somebody from US requested two books from me to send to Romania to a friend of his. We have dealt quite a lot before with each other (this guys is also a Romanian living in the US), anyway the latest two books sent end of November haven't arrived to their destination in Romania so far. The guy just sent me pm telling me that 'ah, I've lost two credits, that's life, it happenes, I'll leave you feedback and that's it', bla bla bla.
I quickly replied to him to not leave me feedback, we can sort it out, to let his friend from Romania request 2-3 other books from me as replacement, and maybe the originals still arrive. Anyway he left me feedback, positive, can't complain about it, but it says that the books never arrived  Now if anyone checkes my feedback, there I have two long messages and people will be scared to request from me :( Why he couldn't have waited a little bit longer with the feedback, I am sometimes waiting even 3 months before I decide to write something there. Darn, I feel so bad now, I almost want to quit TT

That is so awful! ((((Kis)))) With the Christmas slowdown in the post, it's to be expected that things will be slow.
You have over 100 positive feedbacks. I'm sure people won't be afraid to request from you.

I am sorry this happend Kis.
Is there a place on TT- where you can explain or refute or whatever the feedback and explain what happend.
Like on Ebay where if someone leaves negative you can explain yourself if you choose to do so.
At least it wasn't negative ;)

Romania takes forever in shipping. I sent books to Romania a while back that took 2 1/2 months to get there (sent them in November, in fact--didn't arrive until late January). He needs to understand that they're probably still on the way. That wasn't cool that he left feedback so quickly.

Don't quit because of them Kis. I think they meant well don't you? I mean at least it wasn't a negative or neautral.

Thanks for all your encouraging comments, they mean a lot to me :)
I think what hurt me most is that I know the guy (well not personally), we are dealing with each other ever since I joined TT. In fact we're both from Romania and I felt like a stab in the back that without trying to first solve the issue (hey, you know me, I have no problem sending even double the amount of books to be replaced if they'd get lost or anything!), he was quick to give me a negative embraced in a positive coating. It just sux :(
Oh well...I went and took a hot bath and started to think and realised that it's just a tiny setback in life, nothing major that should cause me ulcer or anything, I wish all my troubles in life be that small as this one :)
There I am more positive now :)

Kis, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
When I look at people's feedback on Titletrader, I just scan to see if there are any negatives - and those are the only feedback that I read. If someone got a positive, I won't bother reading it.
I don't think you have too much to worry about!

Hi Kissy I've had that happen to me .
Once I forgot to send the book but on the other hand i did not out shipped, but I got a negative, oh well, but the other one was really uncalled for.
I had mailed the book to this person in America, even though she did not ship out sight her country, well not at that time, it never arrived and she gave me a neutral although, I was the one that lost a credit, and lost a book + postage.
I have removed all my books but still have 3 credits left.
On the other hand kissie, as someone else replied. When people see so many positives, they will not hesitate and I don't think he meant wrong.
edit I wrote the above 1 hour ago, but then Rowena and me decided to watch 2 Sex in The City eps and I totally forgot to post this.
Then i did and noticed Kissies reply. I get you now. You said it right, it was a postive but in a very negative way.
If I were you i would say how I was feeling.
