The only thing required is that you send your partner one book from their wishlist before May 1st. If you would like to, you are welcome to send extras, but that is totally up to you. No one should expect to get more than one wishlist book.

Please pm me with your address as well as any shipping preferences. Please put 'May Day Exchange' in the subject line. If you do not specify any shipping preferences then I will assume that you are game to ship anywhere. :D


Please keep in mind that if your partner is overseas and you are shipping your package via surface mail it may take as long as two to three months.

Be sure to update your wishlists and if you have not already done so post in the Favorites thread.

I will take signups through February 18th and will send out partners names by Februrary 20th. Hopefully that will give everyone enough time to shop and ship packages.

This is my first exchange, though. Is the usual thing to send a brand-new book or second-hand? Registered or unregistered? Anything else I should know? Thanks!

Any of the above! :D More than half of the givers seem to register them, I think -- registered or unregistered is fine. You can get the book through any legal means -- new, used, traded for, and if you're very lucky sometimes you'll find a copy in your TBR pile! :lol: Sometimes it's easier to have books sent directly through non-BC trading sites, like BookMooch or TitleTrader. Whatever works!
