OK I have just found the "Cat" series and I am hooked!

Funny because I am such a dog person :P

I really like the characters and the cats. I also like the fact that I have so many to get through! I have picked up alot from other sites! When I find one I have not listened to I jump on it.

I only do audiobooks because I have a 2 year old and reading is so hard with her. She does not mind mommy listening to a book while we do errands and cook

Anyone else like this series?

 I'm a big mystery fan and rarely meet a series I don't like, but I absolutely can't stand the "Cat Who" series! But there's a lot of books in that series, so she's got lots of fans out there somewhere! I know what you mean though - it's lovely to find a new series you really enjoy and that already has lots of books out! :)

I thought I would not like it but I surprised myself! :)

I loved the "Cat Who ..." books for a long time after I discovered them (the head librarian at the public library got me hooked on 'em). IMHO they reached their zenith in 1992 with The Cat Who Moved a Mountain and then each one after that seemed a bit more called-in and/or ghostwritten.

Funny, you'd think I'd have enjoyed the series even more after Quill got his librarian love interest, Polly, but that never went anywhere I wanted it to go ...

Mom absolutely loves this series. She mostly reads non-fiction books, but when she found out that these take place where she and my dad lived right after they got married, she was hooked. Of course they names of the towns and some of the places in them have been changed, but they are definately real towns and places in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan.

She has all the books that are out so far and I found her a quiz book for Christmas.

I haven't read them yet, but I'm branching out into cozy mysteries. I may eventually try them.

I can't stand the "Cat Who" series either. I used to get tons of them in my bookboxes until I banned them. Can't seem to get rid of them once I get them.

I just found them myself, and I've only read one, but I really like them. I don't do audio anymore, my two year old pulls the ear plugs outta my ears because she's nosy (just like mommy) and wants to hear too, and in the car she has to hear "George" (Curious George soundtrack) or sometimes I get by with "KidsStuff" on sirius (stalite radio)

Anyway... because the books are so old, I thought I would try my library, and I found they have EVERYONE of them. And because my area is where a lot of people go to retire (why I have no idea) there are a LOT of audiobooks. I really don't think I have my one Cat Who audio, but I would try the library, I bet they have them in audio there.

Libraries and me are kinda a funny thing.. a bunch of the books I like are there, but I forget that and tend to buy or trade for them instead of buming them for free.

(Oh, a trick I've found with my daughter is I have a portable DVD player, and I'll put in one of her favorite movies and while she's glued to the movie, I read. :D OH.. and I've also found sometimes she'll fall asleep on the floor watch it too. ;) )
