Title: Small Quirk
Description: with Time Stamps

I've noticed a small quirk with quotes when replying to a post...
There is a time and date stamp on the quoted material and the time stamp is different than the original post's time stamp. It looks like it just uses a different time zone.

Well, of course this time it worked correctly!!!! If you check out posts and replys in other threads you will see what I mean. Maybe someone sneakily fixed this!? Or... the quoted time stamp uses the repliers time zone???

I didn't investigate this any further, but the first thing that popped into my head is that I know a lot of people didn't bother setting up their time zone and I wonder if that'd make a difference.

Ahh...yes, I bet that is it... I'm guessing the original post will show the time I have it set at and then the quoted time shows what time the replier sees the original post as being posted as.
Thanks for your insight!

yep, that's exactly what happens. I see your first post time stamped as 3:54 but then when you quoted it in the next post it was time stamped as 8:54.
