I LOVE THEM!!!!

They are from around here! (Dallas Area) I've been listening to them for YEARS.

One of the guys, (I think its the lead singer) his dad was a kid show dude. (It was a local thing.) I remember when the radio station interviewed his dad (Mr. Peppermint) they asked him what his son's bad name was and he said he had no clue they changed it so often, but he remembers they used to be called the "dead Kennedys" I remember watching Mr. Peppermint when I was a kid, its weird to think his son is in a popular band.

I saw them on the Regis and Kelly show a couple of months ago and got some CDs from the library. They remind me somewhat of The Arrogant Worms (who are Canadian).

I'm listening to a Starbucks compilation CD called Rock Steady 1971. It has songs that were released in 1971 from artists such as John Lennon, CCR, Al Green, Nick Drake, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, etc. It commerates the first Starbucks opening in Seatlle in - you guessed it - 1971. :D

boogal - February 10, 2007 08:03 PM (GMT)
Now I'm listening to another Starbucks compilation CD; this time of John Lennon's solo works, called Remember.
