Title: i hate the royal mail

so a while ago i advertised a collection of specialist interest books on a website. i felt the time had come to shift them i had owned the books for years but wanted the space for newer books and other stuff. i wasnt expecting to sell the lot in one go but someone wanted everything so i priced up the value and said i need to check the postage cost and would get back to her. got the cost priced at £10 so gave her the overall total to pay. got the cheque and cashed it to get the postage money and the profit to go towards other things. went to the post office today only to be charged £14 to mail this box of books. i said that i got the cost check about a week ago and they wouldnt have any of it though. so i ended up paying the fuckers £4 out of my own pocket. how do these assholes get away with their bullshit.

I've had that happen to me here with USPS a couple of times too - it's frustrating as heck because there goes the wee bit of money you made!

I'm pissed at the USPS right now myself!! I sent Cheesy a package on the 31st with delivery conformation!
This is what it still says today...

I MAILED IT PRIORITY MAIL!! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GET THERE IN 2 DAYS!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR!!

dont you just hate it when you put the correct amount of postage stamps on something to go overseas, and then say about a month later your package comes back to you stamps insufficient postage.....and you see a lousy 5penny stamp has fallen off! now that really does piss me off cos you have to pay another bunch of postage to send out again
i wanna put target marks on the postage peoples heads and play hunter with a paintball gun cos those paintball bullets hurt like a sonovabitch
