She has sent me a "Funky Socks Exchange" letter. Sort of like a chain letter, but no one will die. Instead you should get some socks in the mail. I actually did one like this in the distant past - but it was underwear. :whistle:

If you're interested in helping me, please send me your email so I can email you a Word document. :) I will not be insulted if no one wants to help. I just thought it might be neat to get this darn thing moving around the world. lol

I did an underwear one myself and sent a pair to NeedSun and her niece, but I couldn't get anyone to do it beyond that so I'm afraid it'd just die with me. Besides, I'm not sure where to get funky socks... though the idea does sound interesting. Good luck with it! :D

I'd assumed she meant funky as in wild, cool, weird. The image that popped into my head was like those ones with all different colors and individual toes. Though I've always wondered if those are a pain in the ass to wear, especially with toe rings.

Definately a pain to wear. And your toes get too hot. <_< They're like gloves for toes. Although actually, now I'm wondering whether I should get a few pairs to wear on those bitterly cold winter days. :rolleyes:

I'd be interested. I could use some new pairs of fun socks! My favorite pair finally bit the dust - they were black KNEE socks with rainbow frowny faces and the word Cranky. :lol:

i love funky socks, but i dont like to do any swap chains when i dont know all the participants. i used to do them before i found my prefered (non-book) swap website and i got cheated so many times.

so im sorry lauraloo, i cannot join the swap chain.
