Just wondered if folks wanted to continue with this, or no? We didn't have a lot of discussion on Golden Compass, and I didn't know if that was because no one had time (my job is killing me, so I understand) or because we've lost interest. Not that we can't still discuss it. And I eventually want to make an index type post with links to everything, I just haven't had the time, and if we don't want to bother, then I'm not going to spend the time. I'm happy to if we still want it though. I think it was a good idea, maybe we're just too busy.

What do you say, keep it going, or not enough time to fool with it?

If the answer is keep going, then Wss4 volunteered to be our next leader (and I think just hasn't gotten around to posting what book she wants us to read ;) )

I'd like to do it. I haven't participated thus far because I had already read both books, and don't have time to re-read. However, I'm looking forward to the month when there's a book I haven't read. :giggle:

I have not been participating simply because I was so far behind on owed TBR that I have not been able to sneak the two books in that we chose to read. Although I have both of them here and intend to read them soon and then visit the discussion threads.

As for choosing a book for this month, I plum forgot. :blush:

I will go through my Sci-fi tonight and post some possible choices.

I just haven't had time to start on it, too many owed books TBR. :cry:

I've been reading Golden Compass around the other books I've owed to read and pass on. I finally got into part 2 today :blush: I was planning on going over to the thread and posting some discussion on part one tomorrow evening if I got a chance. I'm still interested. Perhaps my session was just poorly timed with vacations and summer coming on, etc. I have noticed lots of people not playing in swaps in the last month or so because their owed books were catching up with them, etc, and they were going to be away for a while.
I'm not taking the lack of discussion personally :wink: And I'm going to finish reading this book, I swear... Maybe we should take some time off, though? Since most of us are attempting to dig our way through stacks of TBRs, maybe if we delay the next book session 'til... some time we can all agree on as possibly ... Oh, I dunno.

I read the Golden Compass in June, however, by strange coincidence as I didn't know it was the next book chosen. Can I still post my thoughts about it on that thread?

Would like to continue it, just need a smack to the head sometimes to remember stuff....

Yes, all threads are still available for commenting, I don't see any reason to ever say we are done discussing any of them if we don't want to be!

I was just worried that maybe we were losing interest because we didn't have time.

Do we need to maybe change it to quarterly to give ourselves more time, or do we want to keep it at every 2 months?
