So... once again I'd like to have a series swap for my birthday. I love that swap, but we don't seem to have it often. (The last one was on my birthday last year.)

My birthday isn't until October 1, but I know that a lot of people don't want to offer TBRs, and since you have to offer at least three books, I thought I'd start seeing if there is any interest now, so people have time to read.

My birthday is October 1. I'm thinking I'd start the swap either that day, which is a Wednesday, or the 3rd, which is a Friday.

Swap Details:

The rules are the same as a regular 12 hour swap, but you have to offer at least three books from the series you're offering... and it has to be three books that someone who has never read the series will be able to pick up and start reading without needing any other books. So, generally the first three, but if your series really honestly does not have to be read in order (keep in mind this is by someone who has not ever heard of it before), you can offer any three books in the series.

You can, of course, offer more than three, and omnibus editions are acceptable so long as there are at least three books in them. Any genre series is fine, though I'm sure you all know I have my personal preferences. :rofl:


So, is anyone interested? Should I plan on setting this up? I won't hold sign ups until sometime in September, but I wanted to gauge interest now and let people know that it is (hopefully) coming so they can get reading if they want. :bounce:

I loved this last year and would love to play again! Thanks for the heads up too...now I can think about saving a series!

That's why I like to give a heads up... people have trouble coming up with a series without advanced notice!

And it doesn't have to be a trilogy... just 3 consecutive books in a series. The series can go on... and you can offer more than 3 if you want. :D

I know, but most of what I read comes in trilogies.....or 6 packs :) I'll see what I can come up with that might be good and wantable.
