I've decided to start reading some authors alphabetically to help narrow my choices each time I start a new book. :rofl: Right now I'm reading Storyville by Lois Battle, and will be needing a new book to start on in a few days.. :)

I voted for Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier - her historical fiction is always fabulous!~
But Harlen Coben's Tell No One is a distinctly memorable thriller, even tho 5+ years have gone by since I read it! :ph34r:

I had a hard time chosing between Bet Me (which was great on audio!) and Princess in Love. But then again, I thought Tell No One was really good too! I also liked Mean Season -- not the same old chick lit.

I picked Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko because I liked the name of the book. :giggle: Plus her name is differently different. ;)

I just bought this book at Alcatraz..:) It is about a family that lived on the island while the prison was in operation.. :D

I voted for Girl With a Pearl Earring, but if you want a quicker read, I'm also very fold of Catherine, Called Birdy.

I really enjoyed the book. There's a movie out, but I haven't seen it yet. Can someone who has read the books *and* seen the movie make a recommendation whether I should see it or not?

I read the book first and then saw the movie. I enjoyed the movie and think that it was done well. I vote that you watch it! :)

I have only read this book from your list but I have not voted cause no use to vote for this book while you are already reading it :)

Oh I see I also have Strange Bedpersons. registered by another BCer. I think I got this from an ALS.

I really enjoyed Girl With a Pearl Earring.. it was very easy reading.. I was surprised. :)
As for Crusie, I've read Charlie All Night by her and really liked it..can't remember if I've read any others or not! :lol:
