I have a book picked up for this one so I'm really hoping we have more people joining up so the swap actually happens! :)

I'm in for this one! I will be away from computer and roadtripping (on the way back home this time) from this weekend 'til the swap day, but by swap day I intend to be home. Perhaps just put me further down the list? I'll send out my reveal before I am out of range of a computer so that it'll be available if someone asks for it if you all start early :whip:

It's just occurred to me that I'm away on a residential course from 9th to 13th July and I don't know if I'll have either any spare time or internet access so perhaps I'd better drop out of this. Sorry to mess you about - I shall look forward to the next time.

I WANT to play, believe me, but I don't have any books to offer if the 10 or so teen books that have been mailed to me don't arrive!

This is the same issue I'm having in the Teen VBB. :doh: I used all my teen books in past swaps/VBBs and haven't yet gotten a lot of what I've taken out recently.

Use one that's already been mailed to you! :P

Not sure when this will be starting but I am off to bed now and will check in again tomorrow morning. Then after work in the evening.

I don't know... what if it gets lost in the mail or something? I feel weird using books that aren't in my possession yet, even if they're en route.

How do other people feel about me using a book that's on it's way to me? (By on its way I mean I've been told & the database reflects that it's been mailed.)

I'm not sure... but I have 8 teen books I know are on the way, and 7 of them I'm confident will make it here unless something happens to the mail. But 4 of those are international and 2 others were just mailed on Monday. :unsure:

Sounds ok to me. If it never makes it to you, you can probably arrange a substitution. At least that's how I feel. Anyone else feel strongly either way??

I have no objection. So long as you feel you'll be able to read through the book and send it along within the six months and not feel terribly pressured. What I mean is, if you're comfortable with it, then I am, too! Besides, you know you want to play :wink:

I do want to play. But I'm also wary of setting a precedent. I can easily read the book and pass it along within 6 months, but I read at least 15 books a month, more most of the time. A lot of people don't read that fast.

Plus, there may be some people here (on the site, not necessarily n this swap) who wouldn't make good on the book if it got lost in the mail. I would... but would everyone?

I don't have any problems at all with this. If your reveal doesn't make it then the postal Gods just don't want anyone to have it. I'm sure that a sub will be okay in that case.

All right. No one is allowed to ask for my reveal until 5:00 Eastern tomorrow. At that time, I'll either have books here, or I'll pick one of the ones that's in the mail to me.
