Title: What to Read Next - try two!
Tribefan - July 2, 2008 06:29 PM (GMT)
Now if all goes well, you hopefully will be able to pick up to three choices and whichever one is the winner tomorrow morning is the book that I will read next...
If you are not familiar with any of the titles above, just pick the titles that sound fun to you!

Hey Mods help! I screwed up that one line with 2 choices! If you can fix it that would be great!
Amberkatze - July 2, 2008 06:39 PM (GMT)
I am happy you did the poll again with more votes! I had a hard time choosing one!

Yes, it was suppose to be that way the first time and didn't work out so I tried again! I still screwed it up but at least there are more votes!

My first choice for you is Dhampir, then it's a toss up between Grave Surprise and Blooming Murder. You only had a couple on there I had not heard of before.
wss4 - July 2, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
Guess it would depend on rather your in the mood for paranormal or mystery. :giggle:
So I pick Grave Surprise as one choice since it contains both.
boomda181 - July 2, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
I haven't read any, but there are quite a few interesting titles that look mighty good!

:giggle: Right now I have been bouncing back and forth between to two genre!! Now I can't decide which I feel like reading so....

I voted for Stolen and The Good, The Bad, and the Undead. If you like Urban Fantasy with a different take on vampires and werewolves, then you'll like it. I warn you though, you may get hooked and end up buying the rest of both series. :P
Kyrissaean - July 2, 2008 10:13 PM (GMT)
I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to just three!
So I picked Damphir, 'cos I've been meaning to try that series too so then you can report back what you think. :giggle:
Stolen, 'cos yummy series! I liked the 1st and the 3rd best so far, but I'm only through the 5th. Now thinking about makes me want to go dig up the 6th!
And Dead Man Rising, 'cos as I recall the book before left things pretty up in the air for Ms Dante....

I just finished reading Cooking Up Murder and I'm not planning on reading any others in the series. It was pleasant enough, but not all that enjoyable.
Tribefan - July 3, 2008 01:29 PM (GMT)
I need more people to vote!!! I currently have a tie and cannot start on both of them! :nono: :bash: :giggle:
ladiibbug - July 3, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
Hi Tribe!
I voted for (1st choice) Dhamphir, #1 in the Noble Dead series, which ROCKS!
2nd choice is Dead Man Rising, #2 (I think) in Lilith Saintcrow's Dante Valentine series.
Let us know what you choose and how you like it/them!!
Tribefan - July 3, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
Thank you ladiibbug for the tie-break vote! I shall start on Dhamphir, #1 in the Noble Dead series today! Keep voting though, once finished with this one I will start on the next highest vote getter!
noumena12 - July 6, 2008 02:18 PM (GMT)
I wanted to vote for four of them...Geesh Tribefan...you couldn't narrow it down any more than that :) :shedev
If you want to laugh...go with the MacAlister book...that woman has a wicked sense of humor.

What can I say I just want to read too many books! :giggle:
I'm just over halfway done with Dhamphir, so keep voting! The #2 vote getter is what I will read next!!!!
Tribefan - July 26, 2008 03:01 PM (GMT)
So far I've read:
Dhampir by Barb Hendee, J.C. Hendee (currently reading book #2 Theif of Time)
Black Ribbon by Susan Conant (not as good as others in the series)
Blooming Murder by Jean Hager (fun start to a new series for me)
The Body in the Belfry by Katherine Hall Page (another good start to a new series for me!)
Breeni - July 26, 2008 10:51 PM (GMT)
Not familiar with any, so I picked the Charlaine Harris.
boomda181 - July 27, 2008 01:16 AM (GMT)
No wonder you can't choose, they all look good! Enjoy!
