I'm totally doing that with my kids on a boring day this Summer. The "recipe" I found on Zaar called 1 cup of water to 1.5 cup of cornstarch (and unflavored Kool-Aid, but I'd worry about it staining, no?)
... and actually our own Breeze put it on Zaar... funny!

Amazing! I need to check what cornstarch is in German and if they sell it here in Austria!
The kids in work would love that!

We kind of do this with white glue, borax and water and it makes the coolest slime.

Here it's called cornflour. It's used to thicken soups, stews etc.
I tried to make it once but put too much water in and ran out of cornflour so just ended up with gruel. I'm totally trying again though - I didn't know that it went solid like that, it's amazing!

I remember playing with this stuff as a child.... on a much smaller, non-bathtub-sized scale, of course
