Note: This will be our first month under the new guidelines, that if you have books from more than 6 months ago that you have not mailed out yet, you need to attend to those obligations first and should not incur new ones. This means books from before Dec. 07 (is how I'm reading it) in all areas, swaps, relays, and VBB's (right? not trying to be mean, just tryin' to foller the new guidelines n' stuff). Obviously there are exceptions to this (which I think have been pretty well discussed, but if you aren't sure, tell me your situation and I'll see which side of the line you fall on).

Who wants to swap some SFF? :pepper: (note Pepper friendly sign up thread, I REALLY wanted to use the cheering banana but I didn't! and yes I DO want a gold star! :P :giggle: )

That's right, it's either or, not and :D. We've just been alternating, like last month we did only sci-fi, this month we can do either one, and then next month will be only fantasy, then another either one, etc.

There's not a year restriction on this one, no. Just kidding, no actual pressure on anyone, I know many of us have used TBR's more often than we should (guilty, still doing it! :blush: ) and it's going to take us awhile to dig out. I'm getting closer, but it takes time!

I'm ALMOST done!! I finished Rollback for krin from last month, so from the sci-fi/fantasy swaps all I have left is Odalisque for DragonGoddess.

Aside from that, I have 1 book in the Romance VBB.

I don't want to wait a whole MONTH, but I wouldn't be adverse to pushing it back a few days. The Mystery Swap is starting on the 20th... maybe if we started on like th 25th or 27th, that would give people more time, people wouldn't be out of town that weekend, and it wouldn't conflict with the mystery swap. :shrug:

Ohh. I would be interested in joining if you move it out until the 27th. I'm doing the mystery swap and will be away on the 26th.

I am happy to put it back a week if that means getting more players.

I would be able to play if we pushed it back. This weekend is crazy busy between weekend plans, and class work due Mon & Wed. (first quiz of the summer session and first major assignment).

okay, if that's what ya'll want, we can wait until the 28th. I may just go ahead and start scheduling them the last week of the month then, instead of kind of in the middle. It doesn't matter to me, 10 swaps at the same time would be fine with me! :lol:

Pepper, if that's only for a weekend, you could be put near the end. We couldn't have a SFF without you! :hug:

I'll be leaving very very very early in the morning August 28 and getting home sometime in the evening September 2. I will have my laptop with me, but internet access is like $10 a day at the hotel, so I doubt we'll get on more than once or twice. :shrug:

Multiple swaps at the same time -- and a couple of VBB rounds as well -- just keep you on your toes. For me, it's more fun than hanging around wondering when we're going to have the next swap.
