It's a struggle to find a great book sometimes - and when you add the TBR swap into the mix too, which is kind of the same sort of thing.... I'm not complaining cos I happily play in both swaps ;)

I don;t know what to do - now this is a small swap, and will therefore not last so long, I can't play during the day anymore while I am at work.... and this is likely to happen while I am at work...

If the new hostesses want to pick up the sign up list and host this month you're welcome to, I'd recommend waiting until next month and see if you get a bigger turn out.

Yes I did not sign up for the last few YBS's but that is because I did not like the books as much in the last of the YBS swaps.

But I do not want it to end. :cry:

I think a lot of people feel that way...I do too!

I love the genre-or-otherwise-specific swaps because you know more what you're getting into, but I really loved the YBS when it used to be a 'hang-out' where many people played. I also feel very strongly about geographical restrictions....and won't go into it here!

I think the consistent reduction of interest is telling us to make this bi-monthly...who knows maybe once everyone is caught up on TBRs this could go back to monthly....

Can I make a suggestion that the everyone allowed to play YBS and the US only swap be run on alternate months? That may help with numbers of participants.

O this was the other cancelled swap. I need to update the swaps thread.

Yes it is not going too well for a lot of swaps lately.

I'm not sure why everytime a swap gets cancelled the first thing that is brought up is the US Swap.. I'm just not understanding this at all.. we had a whole 8 people the last 2 months (April and May) but we still played and made the best of it... April and May PUF ALS were both cancelled due to lack of players. Its all swaps.. no one is playing right now and if they are its in certain genre specific swaps.
