I just released a bunch of books under controlled releases and one popped up in the sidebar which usually never happens. Does that mean the notifications get sent out too?

They have made a few changes with releases. Now the Controlled Release is a bigger feature. The book icon has changed and Controlled Releases have their very own little icon of two books instead of the normal Wild Release book.

But all that being the case, I do almost all of my releases as Controlled Releases and they have always poped up in the side bar. So I don't think that is any different. :shrug:
