As some of you may know, I finally graduated after 2 long years of hard work (plus 5 before hand to get my undergraduate degree) and will officially receive my MBA on June 11th.

I have also gotten a job offer and will be starting work on June 23rd.

With everything coming together, the only big thing left is finding an apartment. Today I put an offer in to rent a condo in the perfect location for where my work is! It's literally a 10 minute walk to work (Front and Spadina for those familiar with Toronto).

However, there are other people putting in bids to rent this apartment too and I don't find out until tomorrow night. So if you could please send me good vibes for me to get this place that would be great! Thanks :D

We have heard that there is no news. I think the owner is sort of waiting for a better offer. In the meantime Lauren's offer has expired :shrug: Eivdently the occupancy rate is so low in Toronto (1%) that people offer more than the rent requested :whip:

I've just been walking my the Marine Lake and there were sailing boat comps on. A couple of the boats had McGill, Canada on them which made me think of you, Lauren! Because I'm sure someone went ot Mcgill, but now I don't think it was you so confuzzled!

McGill is in Quebec. I'm not sure if anyone from here has gone to it? :unsure:

Anyways, yes I'm still waiting to hear back but I highly doubt that I will get it. Last time the realtor phoned me there were 5 offers and the guy was still waiting to make his decision. He obviously wants someone to come in over the asking price and there's no way that I am going to do that.

I guess I need to make more appointments to see apartments! :wacko:
