Corbin will be 8 in a few weeks. Before Magic Tree House, he would not read for fun. But he asked for Magic Tree House books for Christmas. I'll give up grocery money to get him those books if it will get him to enjoy reading! :D Now, he's actually picking up books to read for fun, like the Narnia series.

Got Twighlight Illusions by Maggie Shayne from PBS today.

I stopped at B&N today to pick up a little something for my V-day partner...and got some good stuff on their bargain section! I got 2 of the MTV teen books (there were actually three on sale but Fantasy just sent me one) and a crapload of RDIs. I got Mafic Chic for 4 bucks. I also picked up The Washingtonienne for 5 bucks.

They also had a bunch of audiobooks available in the bargain section. Unfortunately, the couple I was interested in I couldn't get, 'cause almost all of them were on cassette and I need CD. :(

Oooh that's one of my faves from that series, and I really like the WHOLE series. Damien is tres yummy!!! :D

I've read the first -- Twilight Phantasies and really enjoyed it, so I am looking forward to more of the series. I have Twilight Memories also which I really want to read soon.

I read River God not too long ago--really loved it.
