My cat loves the smell of books, but I'd never seen her so interested until this weekend, she practically climbed in my copy of Denise Swanson's newest mystery "Murder of a Chocolate Covered Cherry."

She let me rest it on her belly, and then she nestled around it...

Then I chased her off the blanket so I could toss it in the laundry and finish my book! :-P

My dog does that with my books. He always will wedge himself between me and the one I'm reading then shove it down and sit on it, to get my attention.

My cat only does the lay on it thing to my keyboard. :giggle:
