We started making country ribs earlier (they are in the oven now cooking in sauce) I chopped up a bunch of tators (they are in the oven cooking in butter) and we are going to have some corn too.

been out cleaning out the garage and the yard all day. It's sooo nice out there after the crappy snow/rain/sleet and 20's we've had the last few days. Mid 40's and gloriously sunny today.

hubby is grilling bacon mushroom burgers and I'm making coleslaw, tato salad, and fresh andes cookies for dessert. :)

I'm actually going to have breakfast for dinner. Don't know if there is a name for what I'm making but it's hash browns, bacon, eggs and cheese all cooked together. Plus I'll probably throw some biscuits in the oven.

Ok the mushroom burgers are the "burgers" beef or actually mushrooms? I worked at a home for girls with eating disorders years ago and their mushroom burgers were actually portabella mushrooms as the burger and I was like OMG you eat that! LOL

they're actually ground elk burgers wrapped in bacon with a creamy mushroom onion sauce poured on them. if they wrre portabella's I wouldn't be eating them ... I'm allergic to those. Hate to end a great day hugging the potty. ;)

Ummmm. I used to be able to get ground venison before moving to where we live now. Loved BBQ venison burgers.

Venison's good too. I like the elk mostly cause it has all the taste of a good cow, but only the fat of a turkey. It's awesome.
I get it easy ... my mom-in-law raises elk., so we have an inside source.
