Once I started keeping a list, I've actually gotten much better at acquiring new books from others! Bookboxes though are my downfall!!

Hehe, I keep a list too. I have this weird obsessive order in which I read my books, so I have to maintain separate lists of books from other BCers and books I registered myself in the order in which I acquired them.

Is there something wrong with that

I keep an excel spreadhsheet with the date I received it sorted 1 st by books owed & the date promised, then books received from other BCers & the date received, and finally books that I registered & the date registered.

So I'm just as obsessive as you.

Even before I joined bookcrossing I owned over 1,000 books! It's only gotten worse since then! :giggle: I love being surrounded by books and sharing them with others!

I'm hoping 'owed' is a typo and missing an 'n'!

yes it was! :duh:

As you can see I have been crossing books off like crazy. Some because I have read them and some because I have acquired them elsewhere and can set free those I have received from others! I'm trying!
