Title: My Hubby the World Record Holder!
Description: and well known mentalist!

Sunlightbub - April 13, 2008 07:21 AM (GMT)
Some of you may know that my hubby has been part of a world record attempt in the lead up to the London Marathon.

For the past 48 hours he and 11 other like-minded nutters have been jumping on and off a single treadmill day and night to try and break the treadmill world record to support Tommy's ( The baby charity) and about half an hour ago they finished!

The record was 416 miles in 48 hours set earlier this year and they have smashed it by clocking up 495 miles (About 10.3 miles an hour so they have really been burning it) THey've been doing this in the window of Lillywhite's Sport shop on Piccadilly circus, and in about an hour they are all nipping over to Greenwich to start the London Marathon ( at not quite the pace they would normally manage!)

If anyone is able to sponsor him then this is the webpage www.tommys.org/kelvin.

Alternatively send energising vibes to them all for the next few hours, as they will all be cabbaged and haven't had a great deal of sleep for the last few days :)

Thanks for reading xxx

Well I have no idea what that means,

Isn't that state when you're not able to move and do anything after taking too much alcohol or drugs? Kind of being stoned?
I know I would be utterly cabbaged (if not utterly dead) on their place.

I saw him in the window!

I failed to see him (for the 2nd year in a row) running the marathon - it's so hard to try and see every person who runs past.... I did try until I felt quite dizzy.

Anyway a massive congrats to Mr Sunny!!!!!!

Thanks everyone.

He didn't get a great time in the marathon (4 hours 16 mins) but wasn't expecting too after the exertions of the weekend. Also unfortunately one of his team mates wasn't so good so they walked/ran the last 7 miles or so.

He is now
