Anyone tried the Stash Iced Tea powders?

I saw them at the store and they looked tempting, but I couldn't decide if they'd be tasty...looked like a couple varieties of green tea (blueberry, green mint, lightly sweetened) and maybe one more...According to the box, they finely grind tea leaves into a powder that will dissolve in water. The box claims this provides extra anti-oxidant benefits because you're actually drinking the leaves themselves...don't know about all that...I just want to know about taste...

I've not heard of them. But now you've got me curious.

Can't help. I only drink hot tea. Odd for a girl from the South but that's how it is.

I haven't seen any of those in Montreal yet. If they do appear I will most likely buy a pack because I can't resist trying new iced teas.

Hey, no worries about lateness, I had actually thought we'd decided to skip this month because of everything you had going on.

If I promise to be really good and send out my tea this weekend, can I sign up for this month? Pleases?

zosime - April 10, 2008 01:23 PM (GMT)
I think I should skip this month. I am way behind mailing out my March tea.

luckaye - April 11, 2008 12:25 AM (GMT)
I am all caught up (sent to GothamGirl & Ms Joanna) and have an envelope ready to go as soon as I have a partner :)

I'd like to participate in the tea exchange ... I think I get it - we get assigned a partner who we then send 3-5 different types of tea to right? And there is a list of people's preferences at the start of this thread. Am I missing anything? :D

I said I had the envelope - nothing about the teas! I actually send my tea in a card to protect them a bit and give the envelope a bit of stability. I used to work as a mail sorter & I know how the mail is handled ........ :giggle:

Hi Rock

You got the idea! If you want any other info, see last month's thread here:

March Tea Exchange

You'll see how Bibliocrates sets up the partners, what we mail each other and what we think of the tea we receive :)

Welcome to our Tea Group!

cheers!

cowgirl-up - April 19, 2008 05:04 PM (GMT)
I'd still like to participate if we're doing this month. I'm behind on March, but that will be in the mail very soon!

Bibliocrates - April 21, 2008 04:29 PM (GMT)
I'm baaaaaaaaaack!

::Insert Twilight Zone theme music here::

I am sooooo sorry for not assigning partners before I left for vacation my lovely tea swappers! I hope no one went into tea withdrawal!

Vacation was very fun, but very exhausting! Theme park hopping five days in a row was a bit much for my poor little footies. Next time I will schedule a rest day in the middle, as we didn't even get to enjoy the spa or the pool at the lovely resort we stayed at... I sure did peruse the gift shops aplenty though... now I have tons of laundry to do!

I will partner everyone up now...

Welcome RockDg9! Glad to have you!

Cheesygiraffe: I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up... was very busy last Saturday packing up for vacation, hope you enjoyed your visit with your mom!

GateGypsy - April 21, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
I've officially shipped GothamGal's March tea parcel. Confirm me and include me this month, please! :pepper:

msjoanna - April 23, 2008 06:50 PM (GMT)
Are we skipping April?
