Hi.
I just added a book by this author on my wish list.
Found it on amazon and the review looks interesting.
She has written more books.
The book I am talking about is.. Babes in Captivity but she also has written:
* Suburbanistas
* The Man I Should Have Married
* Younger
and some baby books.
Anyone heard of this author?
I am trying to find some new chick lit authors.
Right now I am reading the second book my Johanna Edwards. Your Big Break.
I loved The Next Big Thing but this book is also really easy and a pleasure to read.
Other books I have added to my wish list just by scrolling on amazon.
* Mommy Tracked by Whitney Gaskell
* Romantically Challenged by Beth Orsoff
* seeing me Naked by Liz Palmer
* Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin (I have heard of her books)
But the other authors are new to me.
have you read anything by them?

Ah Thanks Nursie.
Lately I seem to have an urge to read some more cheerful books but it is so hard to know beforehand especially with chick lit books if they are ones I'd like.
I just go with my guts and amazon.

I have Something Borrowed TBR Marleeny - It'll be a couple of months but I'm happy to send it on to you when I've done.
Another one you might like is Getting Rid of Matthew by Jane Fallon.
Oh, and Holly's Inbox was good also.

That would be great sunny
Is that Holly's Inbox that book we were reading online?
6 months ago maybe longer people were talking about it here. The book was lying in the bookstore here.
Rowena was interested.

I liked The Man I should have Married. I read it a long time ago, so I don't remember much, but I remember liking it.
I have Babes in Captivity somewhere on Mt. TBR, but no idea where.

I haven't read Mommy Tracked but I really liked her other 2 books, True Love (And other lies) and Testing Kate. Unlike Nursie, I don't think I was overly impressed by the Orsoff - I might have given up on it half way through. Do you read e-books? I'm pretty sure I have all of the emily giffin books in electronic format - I'd be happy to email them to you.
some of my faves:
Playing James - Sarah Mason
Stupid but Contagious - Caprice crane
The Soloman Sisters Wise Up - Melissa Senate (this isn't LOL funny though)
Love you to Death - Melissa Senate
The Breakup Club - Melissa Senate
The Men's Guide to the Women's Bathroom - Jo Barrett
Getting Warmer - Carol Snow <--- this is a 5 star keeper read for me!
Girl Cook - Hannah McCouch
The Art of Undressing - Stephanie Lehmann
Diary of a Blues Goddess - Erica Orloff
Shaking her Assets - Robin Epstein and Renee Kaplan <---Would have been a keeper if I hadn't promised it to someone beforehand.
Monkey Love/Monkey Star - Brenda Scott Royce
Fate and Ms. Fortune - Saralee Rosenberg

O wow girls. Thank you so much.
Going to check them out.
I do have 3 e books on my hard disk but I never managed to read them.
I guess I prefer to sit on the couch while reading. thanks though.
Question about Holly's Inbox.
Is it so that they did those emails online and everything but if you wanted to know what happened you had to buy the book?
The weird thing is. Last year I read the first week, and I see they also have A Dutch translated site where you can read the emails.
The thing is, the Dutch and official emails are not the same
The Dutch ones though sound very familiar. It is about a package?
Maybe this is because on the official site it is part 2 or something?
O Gosh how do I explain?
I will try and find the first day emails of the Dutch ones and the first of the US ones and translate the Dutch
My back is killing me because of the awkward way I have to sit in front of my PC. will try later.
