Title: The Outlaw Demon Wails/Kim Harrison
Description: Who has read it? Love her?

I read it the other day and loved it. Kim Harrison is a genius. After reading it i went to her website and bought a burning bunny pin, it came in today and is so so cute. The only thing i hate about reading her books is I'm not satisfied with any other book for weeks afterword. I've tried 3 different books now and none can hold my interest. I want more Rachel Morgan and Jenks. So is anyone else a big fan?

I am love her too! I haven't read it yet though. :(

Just in case my "Easter" Avatar didn't give it away ..... Yeah I'm a hardcore fan too.
I couldn't resist going out and buying it as soon as it came out. I was just dying to find out "What happened next".

If it helps any ....... I have the same withdrawal - nothing else is good enough prob too.

Since my den is my personal library I've been slowly trying to get book related things to decorate it with. Pictures, quotes, memorabilia etc etc. Needless to say Kim's are amongst a few of my favorites.

:bananadance: I'm going to meet her this weekend too. She is hosted a book signing in St. Paul. So I plan to go and get my permanent collection copies signed. :bananadance: If I'm lucky maybe I can even get a picture or two, to hang in my den. Wish me luck.

I thought I'd mention this and BX-ing to her too. Let her know she has lots of fans here.

Great author! One of my faves. I didn't buy Outlaw Demon Wails yet as I'm still a book behind and need to read the previous one first. :) (I'm also broke as all heck since we're getting ready to move and sell our house...)

I love the avatar. I wonder if the last two books will also come in omnibus form eventually? I have everything you have except the token. I'm so jealous that your going to get to see her. I hope your able to get pictures. Good luck and have fun! I'm glad others love her as much as i do, i thought when i wrote this post it would be one of those no one answers(i hate it when that happens). I purposely didn't talk specifically about the book cause i don't want to spoil it for others.

I almost wasn't going to open the thread if I thought it contained spoilers (but figured you'd have noted in the subject if that were the case). :P

I love her too! She is the reason I got into the whole genre. Someone offered 'Dead Witch Walking' as a Bookring on BC.com and I joined because it looked interesting and I wanted to try something new. Now I am a PUF freak!!!

You can see my review for the new book on my Blog page (see siggy). I was getting a bit freaked out because Amazon.de kept telling me it wasn't coming when they promised. Then finally it arrived when I wasn't home on a Friday...so I was waiting around at the Post Office till they were nearly closed in the hope that my package was there to pick up!

Post offices here aren't open on Saturday and close at 6pm...I wouldn't have been able to pick up the book till the Wednesday so I was really on edge! Luckily the package was there and I was finished with the book by the next day ;)

I still have to read the one before that. Maybe by the time I get to it, this one will be out in paperback.

Hope your trip to Oklahoma went well Delania.

Thought I'd add here ..... Kim is great! She's very friendly and down to Earth. When we met her at Uncle Hugo's (bookstore) in Minneapolis today she was very cool. I told her about this site and she says she's gonna try to stop by when she has some freetime, likely after the current book tour ends.
She knew of BookCrossing, but said she hasn't been on there in quite sometime, but definately plans to check back in there too.
My son had a blast. This was the first time he's been to a booksigning or anything like it. He thought she was "way cool". She made his day by giving him an mourning armband and a burning bunny pin of his own too.

She even took pictures with us. :D Funny thing is ... I hadn't realized my son was taller then me until I downloaded the pictures. He doesn't have me by much, but he IS taller now.  He was the last one still shorter then me too darn it! :giggle:
