Title: I need fluff badly!
Description: What should I read?
Megi53 - March 22, 2008 07:42 PM (GMT)
I've been reading so many serious books for so long that I'm desperate for some fluff.
Please vote for one of these choices.
I'm going to take a nap (also badly needed) and come back in about 30 min. to pick the book that got the most votes.
Thanks, y'all!

I voted for The Devil Wears Prada, which I haven't read, but saw the film of this week :)

Another Prada vote... mainly cuz that's the only one I've read and it's a big big fluff ball :)

I voted Prada too - it's fluff but not the sort where you feel you were robbed at the end of it!

Pussyfoot is the only one I've read, so I voted for it!

I would have also voted for Prada. Not that I've read it, but I got it for my birthday from a very dear friend yesterday.

Hmm. I tried reading Prada but I don't know, I just could not get into it.
The other 3 books I have never heard of but I understand you already decided. :)

Eh, I'm not liking it that much either (I quit reading yesterday in the middle of the name-dropping celebrity colorist party scene).
Andrea's boyfriend and best friend are better in the book than they were in the movie, though!
@Breeze: I wondered about that. Hope Me & Emma's good, anyway. I was intrigued because it's set in North Carolina.

Its good in the way that books about abused/neglected children can be...I'm not quite half way through now....

Great! :bananadance:
oops sorry. now I am off to amazon to look at the other titles you agve me.
You do not happen to have any books by Joanna Edwards, or Waking Beauty?

Pussyfoot: =mystery and I am not a fan of mystery
Me & Emma: = Sounds great but I see this is indeed not an easy book to read. sad
Speak Softly, she Can Hear sounds interesting.
so I would go for one of the last 2 books
