Title: GLBTQ International

Perdue - March 21, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
GLBTQ = Gay Lesbian Bi Trans Queer (I know "queer" is a bit vague and controversial, but I guess you need a loose definition from time to time)

By international I mean "no geo restriction's please".

There were a couple of GLBTQ-themed relays going on at the old (ancient) relay site, so I thought we could give this one a go.

I'm prepared to refresh a couple of times, but if there seems to be no interest, I'll just let the relay die.
Participants don't need to feel the absolute need to refresh, but at least one refresh would be nice.

I'll kick this off with

Sarah by jt LeRoy

{edit}

Forgot to say: fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels etc. are all okay, and the book doesn't have to be categorized as "Gay and Lesbian" at BookCrossing.com.

Yes please!

I'll take your offer and offer one of these two:

Created Equal or It's About Your Friend

I'm really interested in It's About Your Friend, but thought I'd give it some time... Now I can't resist anymore.

I'll offer Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters.

It's more than 3 cm in thickness (a postal regulation thing here), so I'd prefer sending it in economy mail.

I'll take it!! I don't mind waiting for it to come slow-style, no worries. I've got lots of books to read in the meantime

I'll offer Empress of the World

I'll take Empress... and offer The Liar by Stephen Fry.

caligula03 - April 24, 2008 10:11 PM (GMT)
How about The Boys Across the Street by Rick Sandord?

KateKintail - May 7, 2008 01:51 PM (GMT)
I'd love to give The Liar by Stephen Fry a chance!

I was going to post earlier but I haven't registered the big ol' stack of books I bought over the weekend yet. So I don't have links, but off the top of my head I do have available to pick from:
Barrel Fever & other stories by David Sedaris (audio book read by author-cassette tapes)
or
Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris
or
More Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin
or
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
