Purpose of this swap is, of course to have fun but even more to make those who are going on Convention incredibly jealous for not playing. Therefore book we offer should be very good and very popular and if it possible on wishlists of Convention participants :evil:

With the US$ so low, I can't afford to send myself travelling but a little book will do so on my behalf.

Actually, Marlene, I won that book back in that swap and it was a beautiful non-ARC hardcover. It's been around for a while, I think. :)

Yep...I used the swap as an excuse to buy the copy because I really wanted to read it and I figured it'd be a while before I'd get a used copy...

I just realized that weekend is Passover. I won't be able to play....:cry:

And I just realized that my kids have Spring Break that week and my mother will be here in town. So looks like I won't be able to play either. :unsure:

I went to the convention the last 2 years, but can't afford this year's, so I'll get to participate in one of these finally! :party:

Going back to check past swaps is an interesting thing. I found out the first book taken out of the game in last year's swap was mine! I'd forgotten that! :)

I didn't want to use randomizer when creating play list so everyone picked (or I gave them) a song which I've listen randomly on my winamp. So the play order was order my winamp made with the songs :rolleyes:

OK I think there is enough interest to post sign up thread although I hop it will be more than 21 (who voted yes)

Me too. I thought the songs were clues about what the books might be. I think that randomizing system is quite creative! :lol:

Lauren's graduation is coming up soon and as a gift the family is going to Europe. We fly to Frankfurt on Apr 19, rent a car and travel. I am so excited :bananadance: I think we will be going south to Switzerland, Italy and Austria. We are going for 2 weeks

It is a great gift. It's the last time we, as a family, will be able to travel together. Just because it's not the way you would travel doesn't mean that other people wouldn't enjoy it.

I have very tight relation with my mother and brother and indeed you're lucky cause you have them (both). Of course you should spend time with them! ... OK I look quite pathetic to myself while giving you an explanation... I really didn't need this.
Anyway, I'm sure the trip will be fantastic.
