lexilewords - March 25, 2008 10:27 PM (GMT)

It should feel like more than one book because it is your Indecisive and Paranormal Devil packge....I hope they didn't steal anything!

I haven't mailed a book yet, let alone picked it out. I'm afraid with everything your in, there might be duplicates. Are you April for the Paranormal Devil group?
I usually wait a couple weeks before the beginning of the month to mail out.

I can't imagine what it feels like...It hasn't been my turn yet in any exchanges I am taking part in...it must be horrible having all these packages looking at you all the time saying 'Open me!!!'

this reminds me of when I was younger and my mom hid the presents in bags beneath the laundry pile in the basement (truly when I lived in the townhouse the 5 of us waited upon my mom to do the laundry...well when everyone has enough clothes clothe a small nation and you leave it all to be cleaned and then just move onto the next 'wardrobe' until it gets cleaned...the pile became quite monsterous!) and I'd find the bags and be oh so tempted to carefully open them. I did once and my mom soundly beat me for it!

I will endure and dream of what they might be. this is doing wonders for my buying habits (basically down to DVD's and Graphic Novels...)

You should receive a book from Amazon addressed to "Lexie Cenni - May Indecisive" on or before 6 May. Even though it's not there by the 1st, it is arriving in the target month.

zzz I love your avatar. Would love to know what that tastes like. You won't find stuff like that here in the states so it's funny when we see some of the names of your food. :giggle:

lexilewords - May 1, 2008 12:14 PM (GMT)
i'm sorry guys  my allergies have been killing me so i've been going to bed early in hopes that extra sleep will help (btw it doesn't. total and utter fabrication. all it does is make me cough and feel dizzy and fall into walls).

I have to leave for work so I PROMISE to open my packages soon as I get home (assuming my brother allows me on the computer).

zzz - May 1, 2008 12:16 PM (GMT)
oh get well lexie  allergies :whip: and (just in case) lexie's brother :whip:

more like :bash: since he seems to think that if I work 10 hours a day and he doesn't work at all he has every right to take over the computer and the TV when I finally get home...its apparently MY fault that I want to work and have money instead of not have money like he does...but then what do I know?

Oh, your brother sounds just like mine! Except he will ocasionally vacate the computer to allow me there when I return from work, mostly because he also has a laptop he can entertain himself with... just not one with a lot of 'gamer' capacity like the desktop.

lexilewords - May 1, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
first a real quick word to Xeyra--my brother has his own desktop, but all he does is download on itunes and play 'Counterstrike' with his buddies so he needs an internet connection to do that. I refuse to let him split our connection, so this is how I suffer. When we move however we will have a wireless router so I can use MY laptop!

Now onto the books!

Elsi yours arrived today actually! Thank you so much for Women of Genesis: Sarah by Orson Scott Card! I've been so addicted to biblical fiction lately its weird...

zzz thank you so much for my asian fix with Empress Orchid by Anchee Min. I read a different book partaining to this same subject matter and look forward to comparing the two.

Xeyra thank you for Canaan Trilogy Book 2: Zipporah, wife of Moses by Marek Halter, again my biblical fiction addiction...

Amber thank you for Angel with Attitude by Michelle Rowen, this is the next book my sister and I are doing for our private book club, so its good I don't have to lend mine to her!

needmorezoloft , typing your name makes me tired for some reason :) No really thank you for Argeneau Vampires: The Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands!

I was so excited for today and all my packages I kinda forgot to call my boyfriend so off I go!

You welcome! I'm glad you like it :)
I'm actually not familiar with the subject. I saw it's published in Serbian so I might visit my library soon (or wait to see your impression).

i'm a little obsessed with most things asian--that's a lie, I'm more then a little obsessed, I'm full blown stalkerish of all things asian. for the most part my interests lie in Japan, but lately I've become interested in China and South Korea as well. Not as deeply--I'm not interested in their contemporary country like I am with Japan's--but enough so that if I hit upon a subject I enjoy (in this instance the Last Empress of China) I will just hammer it until I feel I can move on.

my dad says that if I ever had applied this much effort into my religious studies I might not have offended the Bishop of the dioces and gotten all but ex-communicated by the church.

geishabird - May 2, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
Lexie, I've been grievously delayed with your book...I shall be getting it off to you soon as I possibly can. Glad you have received some nice ones to keep you company in the meantime...
