Check in, though I'm surprised by the @ next to my name. I thought it was decided we weren't holding things owed to people who aren't mailing out themselves against you. At least that's the way all the other boxes (including mine) are doing it. But whatever... :shrug:

I'm just saying that swap-wise, and VBB-wise, at least as I know it was discussed amongst myself, Cheesy, Rosie, Giz, and Fantasy, we felt that books that were owed to people like Sand, Daughterofcokie, or others who haven't been around and therefore aren't sending things out don't count against anybody. And that was reiterated in the Swap Restrictions thread as well, because some people were concerned that because they weren't sending some of those books that they'd be banned from swapping.

So that's why I said, whatever... obviously everyone's interpreting these things in different ways so I don't see why the push for a standard, or why people claimed the VBBs are all following the same rules, when that obviously isn't the case.

But please, don't let my comments make you feel like not hosting. I'm simply telling you that I'd assumed I wouldn't be held accountable for anything I owe to Sand so I was surprised that you were doing it differently, that's all. No worries... now I know.

Hmmm - I never got the :pm: , but since I'm here peeking I noticed it was my go. I'll be back in a few mins with my move/update. :)

My TBR stack is a bit bigger then I like it to be at the moment, and there's nothing I HAVE to have, so I just replaced. THough there are a few I'd LIKE, so perhaps if they are still there next round. :whistle:

This means that you may be responsible for shipping the number of books that you have put in. You control how many books you are willing to ship by only taking out/putting in that number of books.
(3) Play may continue perpetually. You can choose to skip your turn by not taking any books out of the box and passing the turn on to the next person.
(4) The next round will begin on the 13th of every OTHER month following the end of play.
(5)This is a Horror book box. Please only put in books marked as such (although very closely related books are acceptable). Asterisks are used to indicate how many rounds a book has been in the bookbox. To Be Reads are okay but should be marked as such!
(6) You have 24 hours from the time the person before you posts their move in the thread to make your move. If you haven't made your move in that amount of time, you may be moved to the end of the list. If you don't show up at all for a round, you will be removed from the list for the next round. However, if you want to rejoin at any time, you will be free to do so.
(7) New participants are welcome and can join at any time! If we are in the middle of a round, they will be added to the end of the list.
(8) The list of participants will be randomized at the end of every 3rd round.
(9) Once you've taken your turn, please PM the next person to let them know it's their turn. If you can't PM them for some reason, please say so when you post your move, so someone else can!

I'm gonna skip this round since I don't have anything to add. Though there is something there I'm interested in so hopefully I can free up a horror book or two, or maybe even put back in the one I owed to Sand, I'll see if I can run it by her and have us each write off the others owed books, and if it's still there next time, then maybe it was meant to be for me. :grin:
