My dishwasher broke a week ago. Waited until this weekend for hubby to have a look at it, only for him to say he can't do anything. Because it is a stupid slimline, integrated thing, we can only replace it with another slimline model - really handy with 6 people in the house, but never mind!

Anyway, went round a few stores and looked online and found one that would dso the job. Ordered it online, got the confirmation and everything, only to gvet a call later this afternoon to say it is out of stock and 14 days until it is back in :grr:

Phoned the nearest retailer - they don't have any in stock either and none due in till next week.

Guess I'm going to be washing up for a while longer yet :rant:

We had similar problems, except with our stove.

We ordered it and then they pushed the date back and back until they told us that the factory where it was being made was flooded and gave us no date at all. So we canceled the order and went elsewhere. Meanwhile we were still getting calls from the original store asking us if we wanted extended warranty. Extended warranty with something they never delivered!!

Yeah, right! Funny, the only time my eldest daughter has urgent homework to do is when I'm doing the dishes! Hubby is never here at the right times to help out anyway.

I've not had a washing machine since before Christmas..Again because it's a stupid intergrated thing....Mum has been doing lots of it..which is nic becuase she folds much better than me, but also have to do weekly trips to bloody launderette..Of course dh sees no urgency in this matter at all :rant:
