needmorezoloft - March 5, 2008 04:21 AM (GMT)
today at work I did a new avatar pic,... when when I log on from home tonight its sorta back to the old one only streached out... is it my pc or is the avatar switched back and stretched?

It used to/is now at home Helna Bonahm Carter in Harry Potter.. the new one I did today is a winter faeish one with mainly a light blue.

Am I going nuts?

Put your arrow over your avatar pic, click down then refresh. ;) See what happens then. :D

It has to do with the caching of images that your browser does automatically. :) So no, not weird... u are! :neener: :tease:

I used to have a button that said this... and I'm tempted to try and find a bumper sticker that says it...

"Normal people scare me"

I think I'm having the same problem.
But what do you mean Cheesy when right clicking picture and reloading? I don't have reload on my right click.

:ditto2:

What she said... I don't see any options to reload only the image myself.

What I usually do in Firefox is reload the entire page and then it comes up fine, but in Internet Explorer, I'd usually have to hold down Shift while clicking the Refresh button in order to force it to reload from the server instead of from the cache.

(Obviously clearing your cache should work too though it's probably a longer way around.)

I have an option to "Display Image with Full Quality," but I don't know if that's what Chessy means.

What I meant was just click on the pic an reload the page. I don't know why I have to click on the picture but I do.

Oh ok I'll try it next time if I have any trouble.
Thanks Cheesy :)
