I got a mystery book in the mail today and before tearing into it, I wanted to see if it's from any of you!

It's from Sueanne Lam of Molambooks in Hayward, CA.

Are any of you responsible for the treat that arrived?

I got a book from the UK today posted from Brenhinol. Is that you, giz-angel?

If it says 'Brenhinol' that actually means it is from someone in Wales. Brenhinol is the Welsh word for Royal Mail/Post.

If you put the word Brenhinol into Google you get lots of Welsh sites and ones for the British Royal Mail.

Well, it was mailed on February 29th and it says "Small packet-air mail" on it with my address and then www.bookcrossing.com at the bottom.

Does that sound like anyone?

Well it has to be someone from Wales in the exchange...but I think I am the only Welsh person in this exchange and I am in Austria...

Next time you get a package from Wales make sure you check the postmark. It always has 'Post Brenhinol' written on it somewhere. It always makes me happy when I see that stamp on something I get in the post!

I posted your book today but am sorry I had to send it surface mail - airmail was way too much (it's quite a big book) and surface was half the price.
Am hoping it gets there in time.

I addressed it to JOE's APRIL GAL on the line above your name right on the parcel, but they look at the little sticker address not the large one (how weird is that?)... either way, you shouldn't have trouble figuring out what it's for :lol: I think I may have forgotten to mark it from GateGypsy, though. It'll be postmarked from BC, Canada, 'cause I'm vacationing here :wink:

I love BC. We've gone on vacation there a couple of times 'cuz I'm originally from Oregon. Where are you in BC and what are you doing?

I'm on Vancouver Island, just visiting my parents and kid sister and old friends. I grew up here. Blair and I plan on bringing the kids down in June/July after school and doing some house hunting 'cause we went to move down here. Whitehorse is... well.. a little isolated :lol: Not to mention cold. I'd much rather put up with the rain than the snow any day.
