It's time for a Fantasy only, no Sci-Fi swappy! There are no copyright date restrictions on this swappy (we're going to make April's combo swap a 2003 or later, but not this one), and any kind of fantasy is ok, high fantasy, epic fantasy, urban fantasy, just no Sci-Fi, so just get that space ship right outta here and bring your unicorn instead!

As I know sometimes there is overlap, especially in Urban fantasy it seems to me, This is not super strict, if your book has elements of both, as long as it's primarily fantasy and not blatantly sci-fi it's fine. :) If you're not sure, I'll be happy to take a look at what you're considering and let you know what I think, then just not reveal you to be fair.

I'm trying not to fall into too much TBR book debt again (as most of my swap offerings are TBR), so I'll have to consider whether or not I want to add another owed TBR to my pile (I'm more comfortable nowadays with only one or none owed books from swaps/relays/VBBs before I use a TBR).

Anyways, all that long boring explanation to let you know that I may end up going against everything said above because it's my favorite genre and I'm weak. But I'm still a maybe.

I'm for and against the whole rules thing actually. I see the need, but regret the feelings they cause, but if yer gonna have 'em, then have 'em consistent.

And it's also too hard to make a consistent rule that takes into account all the individual cases, but you also can't spend the time making rulings on the individual cases, thusly do you need a consistent rule that guides things. :shrug: dat's just the way it goes... it's a catch-22.

but yes, you may play, as the whole rules thing is still under discussion anyway....

I'll give this one a try. I'm still new to fantasy and don't like sci-fi at all. So this will ensure I get a fantasy book atleast. :P Seems like a good way to test the waters.

I've been letting my reading list dictate my swap participation instead of vice versa. Meaning... I have this Fantasy book that I have to read, and no one to give it to after so.... :whistle: hey look, Shaunie's holding a Fantasy swap! How convenient!! :P
