The exchange group has 12 members and each member is assigned one month of the year. During each member's assigned month, each of the other 11 members will send a paranormal book to the member whose month it is. For example, in April, the member who is assigned April will receive a book from each other member of their exchange group.
Sign up quickly as I will only take 11 names to fill the calender. This swap will start with April.

1. Joining this exchange is making a commitment to the other members that have also signed up for 1 years time. Please remember this!

2. Any member who gets 2 months or more behind and not had their month/chapter yet will be removed from the exchange and replaced forfeiting all books sent so far - if said person has already had their month and received all their books they can not be removed from the exchange and will still be held responsible for sending out ALL books owed but will NOT be allowed to participate in the following years exchange.

I guess that the books being sent to me on my month would be one I haven't read....

I'm thinking it would be a great idea to have a wish list or I've read it list somewhere so we can make sure the person who is receiving isn't getting something that they have already read. Why waste postage.

in this exchange is it required to send a wishlist book? just curious so I know what to plan for.

No it doesn't have to be a wishlist book just something that the receiver hopefully hasn't read. I know most of us do have wishlists at Cliff's and Amazon and we also have a books read list on bc. I know it's a bit of work to check the lists but it will be worth it in the end to receive all books you haven't read.

I welcome any ideas on making this easier so feel free to speak.

I am not allowed to buy any more books from my wishlist anymore. These exchanges mean I will get doubles at some point if I do!

If it is okay I would prefer not to be December because I have family who send me presents for xmas and I would definitely end up doubles then.

I just wished to clarify--I love paranormals, but I don't like Stephen King/Clive Cussler/John Saul sort. I don't mind explicitly stated murderous rampages, but I don't like their style of writing (kinda like how I can't read Danielle Steel novels, I don't mind the genre but for some reason her writing irks me). So feel free to ignore my wishlist--I'm sure I have mor ethen enough paranormals on there, but as I found out while perusing other people's wishlists and bookshelves there are still tons out there I haven't read (I do suggest looking at my Books Owned Shelf, since that will at least show you what I already have...you can organize by genre too for simple filtering :)

XD I'm in the same boat...April is my birthday and my Paranormal Book Devils month, and then May is the May Exchange and Indecisives Month. The only good thing as far as my pre-orders go is that I'm fairly certain none of the above will be sending me manga or manga related items, so I don't have to worry about getting doubles for those (and truly that's what most of my pre-orders are on since most of my local bookshops don't care my lesser known series).

luckily my RMTBRBB month is in november!

Oh and people can send me audiobooks if they want!!! I am really into listening to things on the way to work lately and they are so hard for me to find here.

I would love any Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, MaryJanice Davidson (Betsy!!!), J.R. Ward or Kelley Armstrong books to listen too! Even though I have read them all already ;) Actually if anyone has any and wants to trade let me know!
