Do we send out reveals in an ALS swap? :wacko: It's been so long since I've played in an ALS (Almost Live Swap for da newbies!) that I can't remember!!

Since the ALS goes so quickly, usually with a 15 minute time limit per move (?) I'm very close to the pc during the ALS, or even sitting here reading while the swap plays out.

Also, my Books Owed on the new online system showed a book I owe LML going back to Sept 07 - I actually sent it and LML JE'd it as rec'd in Oct. '07. I posted in that thread asking a mod to update for me till I can figure it out and do it myself. Just in case anyone had noticed!

yes, and I think my rules are a bit outdated there... the swap mod will determine the turn length, mine says 20, but usually they've been shorter, 10-15 minutes per turn, so you'll want to stay close to your computer and keep refreshing. Otherwise it's the same basic rules as any other general swap. Really though, it is easiest to learn by watching a swap play out.

The problem with starting with an ALS is that you will then be ruined on time for a regular swappy, you'll be addicted, but everything else will seem too slow! :lol: :giggle:

I might as well jump wholeheartedly back into swaps and I haven't played in an ALS in a very long time - so please add me to the list!

There's generally no need... you're not supposed to leave your computer except maybe to run to the bathroom or the kitchen. :giggle:
