Title: BC's new format

Lizabeth86 - February 27, 2008 03:53 PM (GMT)
Honestly, I am not finding the new BC format very user friendly.

Right now I am getting frustrated with trying to find out how to download the 2 x 4 labels they used to show in the label section.

Where are they? or where else can I find free 2 x 4 Bookcrossing labels?

I am not full of patience today.

ETA: Well I finally found them but I am still not crazy about the new layout.

It definately takes some getting used to.

I'm really glad you found them... CheriePie posted a really nice, unobtrusive tiny label in a thread about whether the books one sends out ought to be registered or not because the idea of PC/nontravelling books came up... but I can't remember which forum that was in

The new layout is taking some getting used to for me, too. I'm having trouble with the tabs because the buttons on them aren't compatible with my browser so I can't just click-and-go. I have to rightclick my mouse and select open to use any of the sub-tabs. It's a little irritating... but I guess that's just part of the fun I have to put up with when I decided not to use IE, eh? At least I don't get a warning page that tells me I can't view it at all unless I switch!

Yup, I'd posted that somewhere, and since I knew we'd all forget where, I also put it in our pinned topic specifically dealing with BC labels. Here the thread. And the labels you're referring to were added to my post, 3rd one down, picture included.

BTW, I don't use IE either, but I think you're on a Mac if I recall, no? So perhaps Safari, or maybe even Opera? I don't think Firefox yet has a version for the Mac.

You can download Firefox onto your Mac. I think Firefox just wasn't developed for older versions of Mac OS.

If you have Mac OS X 10.2 or later you can get it here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/inte...llafirefox.html
