Title: Help me with Mt. TBR Swap
Description: Pick one of my 3 oldest TBRs

Gothamgal - February 26, 2008 02:46 PM (GMT)
Okay, I think I remember this somewhere--if it's somewhere else on here please let me know....

Anyway, the idea is that someone picks one of three of your oldest TBRs and then offers three of theirs... I'll get us started. I have the three oldest on my Mt. TBR:

1. Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins

2. The Lady and the Unicorn by Tracy Chevalier

3. The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl

So, any takers? From anywhere?

This is a great idea! And I hope it's not annoying, but I'm not joining in just yet because I want someone else to pick Jitterbug Perfume - such a surreal and incredible book, you just have to read it. Sort of rambling like Terry Pratchett, very intense and sensory and a bit poetic. Sublime romance plot. :D

I'll join in after the next person. :)

Pssssst: Pick Jitterbug Perfume!

GateGypsy - February 27, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
Sold, Lottiotta

I'll take Jitterbug Perfume, gothamgal

Here are some of my reeeeeeeally old TBRs:

The Other Boleyn Girl <-- I can't believe I haven't read this one yet! I read all the other ones!

Eragon

Tailchaser's Song

ps... these books are available to be shipped anywhere.

I'll take the Other Boleyn Girl. I want to read it before seeing the movie, probably on DVD. I don't get to the movies much, but looks good.

Here's my three oldest:

Twin of Fire by Jude Deveraux
The Ming and I by Tamar Myers
Earthly Possessions by Anne Tyler

Please PM me with your choice when accepting. I don't get to the site very often because of school and might not see a post very quickly.

blackadder75 - March 10, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
Refreshing with three more choices. The others are still good.

The Playboy by Carly Phillips
Silent Honor by Danielle Steel
Lady Chatterley's Lover

blackadder75 - March 19, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
Bump!

blackadder75 - April 5, 2008 02:41 PM (GMT)
Bumping with some new choices. All the others, except the Playboy are still available.

Morality for Beautiful Girls by Alexander McCall Smith
Heaven and Earth by Nora Roberts
Cruel as the Grave by Sharon Kay Penman

blackadder75 - April 15, 2008 12:20 PM (GMT)
Bumping again. I will open it up to any book on my TBR to get the relay going again.

caligula03 - April 24, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
I will take Cruel as the Grave or if that's no longer available, surprise me!

And I will offer:

Golden Dawn by Peter B. Kyne
Five Little Peppers and How They Grew by Margaret Sidney
Town Tamer by Frank Gruber
