Because of March Break in Ontario I am out of town too and would love to hold off if that is what the majority would like, I had already resigned myself to not being able to participate this month.

I think waiting till the 20th would be great since the PUF swap is going to be early in March. If this one is late it would work out well for those participating in both.

I voted for starting on the 20th, but I'm okay with whatever, even skipping. It won't hurt any of us to skip one month. ;)

I voted for starting later in the month. But, I have a question for the usual participants in this swap. Are you interested in getting books to read yourself? Or are you swapping to get books to share with the Young Adults in your life? (or even to wild release ...)

I read them myself. I've always enjoyed Teen/YA literature and if I had not somehow wound up accidentally in the medical/academic library setting, I would have wanted to be a Teen/YA librarian.

I'm interested in books for myself when I'm swapping.

However, I do have a friend who is a children's librarian in the inner city schools, and she has not had much experience with fantasy, and both her sons and some of the kids at her school are interested in it, mostly due to Harry Potter, so sometimes I pass the books on to her when I'm done or get books out of the Teen VBB for that. (But only books I've already read!)

I'm always on the look out for books to read with/share with my kids, but I don't really expect to see many of them in the swaps here :lol: With two boys, aged 7 and 10, they're too young (and often the wrong gender) to go in for most of the books swapped... but I like reading them, all the same! I usually look for people to RABCK books to when I'm done with them (I'm terribly nervous of wild releasing) ... but I do have some nieces the right age to read a lot of these.

... I voted the 20th, too, because hopefully by then I'll be at a house and have internet connection instead of driving around :lol: I get all nervous about the idea of skipping this swap 'cause I just know the one I miss will be the swap that has a book I'll be head-over-heels for.

I probably wont play in this swap but I keep YA books to read for myself. Then they go back in the VBB or get posted on PBS or something.

For the most part I read them myself. I also share them with my 14 year old dd!!

I would say the 20th... Just because I'm difficult. LOL.
I do have a book in mind for this, though!
