I'm planning to hold this closer to the beginning of March rather than the 3rd weekend since I'll be traveling towards the end of the month. Hopefully we'll have a decent turnout since the PUF ALS didn't happen. Though there's probably plenty of people now too who have vowed never to swap with me again. Oh well! C'est la vie! :shrug:

Actually the fact that Nursie wants to hold a PUF ALS at the same time as this also had me a bit concerned that participation would drop, as some people wouldn't necessarily have a book to play in both, and would thus opt to play only in the ALS instead. :( (That's why Shaunie was only doing the PUF ALS every other month.)

But unfortunately, when I PMed Nursie about it, she got kind of defensive and basically said she could do it whenever she wants. :erm: So ummm... I'm just glad that people haven't been dropping out and going over to the ALS to only play there, especially since I only host one swap every other month, and this is it. :tada:

Put me down as a maybe...I'm having a hard time finding the time to finish reading a book I've been working on that would be great for this swap..Soo, if I get it finished in time for this swap I'd love to play! :)

as much as I like ALS's, or at least the idea behind them, they just aren't as convient for me. For one, no one is EVER availible when I am for hours on end so the times are never good for me. at least with regular swaps I don't have to worry if I can't be on the computer for 2 or more hours...

I'm in trouble, though! Last month I said I was going to try to cut down to just one swap at a time, but I have two swaps starting on the 29th and one on the 1st and I'll bet they'll all still be going when this starts on the 8th! :lol: Don't worry, I'm not dropping out -- but I'm going to apologise in advance for the likelihood of me getting mixed up between them all and mis-posting or otherwise making a general idiot of myself. :grin:

I'm not quite sure that I'll have time to get everything set up before then, but I'll keep it in mind.

Besides rootmartin's swap starting on the 29th which I still need to find a book for, I run the Paranormal VBB so I have to get that set up by the 1st of March. Plus I'm on the mod/admin team here and we're trying to get rolled out in the next few days the Books Owed app I developed for the site.

Oh and not to forget that I'm moving across the country in about 3-4 months and am making another trip out to California myself at the end of March to wrap up a few more of the logistics of the move. :phew: So yeah needless to say, I squeezed this in when I was able, but I'm not sure if I can find the time to get it all together any earlier than that.

HOWEVER, when I say March 8th, I do mean basically 12:01 on that day, so you can at the very least expect to see it all posted and ready to go on Friday night the 7th. And if it's ready earlier that day, then all the better for me as it means I'm motoring right along in my own todo list. :giggle:
