Title: Pushing Daisies
Description: My new favorite show

Pushing DaisiesI remember seeing the commericals for it back in August and September and being so excited about it. When it finally aired, I fell in love with it. Unfortunatrly, the strike cut its season to only 9 episodes and now we have to wait until the Fall for new ones. I hope it survives this blip; two other Bryan Fuller shows have not faired well: Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me. Is anyone else watching?

ME ME ME ME ME!!!
I LOVE this show!! It's so unique. And Jim Dale narrates! Stupid writer's strike.
It always cracks me up when Chuck falls and Ned just lets her hit the floor, 'cause he can't touch her!

My boyfriend and I have been watching it, too! It's certainly a different show than the norm. I only recently realized that Olive is the woman that played Galinda/Glinda in the original run of Wicked.

Yup. I was sooo happy when she got to sing! She's one of the reasons I started watching the show in the first place.
Also, the woman who plays Aunt Vivian was Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. (The one with Rick Moranis.)

I like it but the more I watch the less I like Ned and Chuck. Chi McBride and Olive are the ones that make the show for me. I love how Chi knits when he's stressed!!

We're loving it too (just 3 episodes have been on here so far). I'm always happy seeing Ellen Greene (from Little Shop of Horrors) pop up, especially when she's not playing serious stuff.

I have loved it since the first moment I heard the first word from the narrator and saw the wonderful incredible colors of the show. It's my new favorite show, it's one of my favorite shows ever too. It's just the kind of storytelling I love.

I watched the first 10 minutes of this once... I didn't feel like sitting down to watch anything just then, but I remember thinking, this looks cool, I should try to remember to watch it one day. Maybe this thread will remind me. :D

Also, Anna Friel, who plays Chuck (I love Chuck!), is David Thewlis' (Prof. Lupin) partner. They have a little girl together.

I so agree with you. Great storytelling and amazing colors.

I caught one episode a while back and noted it as a show I'll look for when it's out on DVD as I'm sure I'll love it - my stepdaughter recommended it to me and that's what prompted me to watch once.

This is definately my new favorite show. My mother described it to me at the beginning of the season when I was living in Alaska without television. It sounded really odd. But when I started watching it, I loved it! Only...I missed the first 4-5 episodes (while in Alaska), and I sure do wish they would have played reruns.
Did you know they have a few singers on the show? Olive, of course, is Kristin Chenoweth and I had forgotten she was in the new movie of Annie. And during one of the episodes, I suddenly realized that one of the aunts played Audrey in the movie musical Little Shop of Horrors. "Suddenly Semour!"
