Title: RABCK: Horse Passages

Hi all! I received this book today via BookMooch. It's a Young Adult scifi/fantasy kinda book. The thing is.... it's an ARC and is more like a manuscript (to me anyway) from Medallion Press - the front and back are light cardboard, no picture or anything, just the name and author printed on the front - it is spiral bound - it is on 8 1/2 x 10" paper! It is the last point that is odd to me!! So.... it IS a book, so I'm going to register it on BXing! The other thing is - this kind of a book isn't compatible with my bookshelves... I'm concerned that it will get tattered if I keep it around.... So - I want to read it right away - and pass it along right away. It's not on any wishlists at Cliff's. Here is the book description from Amazon:

Horse Passages by Jennifer Macaire

Book Description
Far, far away, earth voyagers have found vast herds of horses that seem to disappear as if by magic. In reality, they are able to open passages through time and travel from planet to planet. But they, and the young herders who have bonded with them, are dogged by the savage Raiders.Only the key to unlock the mysterious and marvelous Horse Passages can save them.

Anyone want? I'd prefer U.S. shipping for an ABCK OR I'll trade with someone international for something off my wishlist. :)

I got a manuscript bound book (using a velobind system as opposed to spiral though) from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers group. It's the one I'm actually offering up in the Mystery swap right now, but depending on who winds up with it, like if it's someone overseas, I'll see if I can acquire the previously published UK version in paperback and send it directly. Cuz for some reason, the full-size 8.5x11 pages make it kinda heavy, don'tcha think?

Yeah, it's heavy.... that why I offered trade with international.... but it looks like no one is interested in it, so I don't know what to do with it now....

Thing is, I'm not sure that, technically, something like this is allowed there.... I've been looking around but don't see the info I want.... anyone know for sure? I know PBS doesn't allow these....

Rosie -- I'd be interested in this book. It sounds like the kind of book I'd enjoy, particularly if it is well-written. I'll send a PM with my address.

YAY! It's yours then, elsi! :)
