Title: Clearing my shelves RABCK contest
Description: US only, TBR or AVL

AM10000 - February 20, 2008 12:17 AM (GMT)
I am opening up another RABCK contest to work on clearing my Bookcrossing shelf off a bit. TBRs and AVLs are both fair game. There will not be a specific time period for drawings since it will depend on how long it takes me to read during specific times. Unfortunately, I am going to have to limit this to US only because of the cost of Intl mail.

Please try to choose at least 3 books.

You know, I just mailed out about 8 books today. And a little less than that 2 weeks ago. All in an effort to move books out of here. Unfortunately, it seems to be the BO Season of Giving this month (and last), lol, and I can't resist everyone's wonderful shelves. With that said, thanks for offering up yours!! If I am lucky enough to be chosen, I'd like any of these:

The Other Boleyn Girl - Philippa Gregory
The Funeral Planner - Lynn Isenberg
Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye - Victoria Laurie
The Client - John Grisham

Thanks again :)

It is all a big cycle.. I just signed up over in Apolonia's contest earlier this evening..

indygo88 - February 20, 2008 02:48 AM (GMT)

CdnBlueRose - February 20, 2008 04:23 AM (GMT)

The Salaryman's Wife

I've really got to quit entering these.
Something Wicked by Jaqueline Meadows
Divine Torment by Janine Ashbless
In Deep Voodoo by Stephanie Bond

None of ya'll will tell my husband that i'm trying to get more books, right?!

And thanks a bunch, i'll be keeping my fingers crossed :giggle:

Thanks for the fun contest offer AM. I picked 5 choices, hope that's okay? I couldn't decide which 2 to take out.

My Choices:
Charmed & Ready - Candace Havens
Divine Torment - Janine Ashbless
Black Lipstick Kisses - Monica Belle
Good Omens - Neil Gaiman
Gypsy:A Memoir - Gypsy Rose Lee

hobbit - February 20, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
OK, I need more books about as much as the rest of you. Since I don't have a "significant other" to object to the size of my TBR mountain range, it has gotten dangerous. But I can't resist entering anyway.

My Choices:
Exiles: Three Short Novels - Philip Caputo
Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging - Louise Rennison
Smoking Poppy : A Novel - Graham Joyce
Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones

:) this is what happens when you all have such large shelves! Myself...I need to lose books, but at the same time my obsessive need to make sure I have stuff to read until 100 years old (and beyond) kinda controls me more...plus I just got rid of 6 bags of clothing! That made room in my closet for books!

TBR:

Charmed and Ready (Candace Havens)
Divine Torment (Janine Ashbless)
Inkheart (Cornelia Funke)
Just Like Heaven (Marc Levy)
Spinners (Donna Jo Napoli)
The Safe-Keeper's Secret (Sharon Shinn)
Scent of Shadows (Zodiac 1) Vicki Peterson
Naught Fairy Tales from A to Z

:) let me know if postage is needed at all

Lexie

I couldn't resist looking at your shelf. I would be interested in:

A Great and Terrible Beauty
Club Dead
Don of the Dead

AM10000 - February 20, 2008 09:31 PM (GMT)
Feel free to pick as many as you want.. :) It isn't greedy if you list lots and lots of choices, if anything it makes me feel better about my shelf, and gives me more books to choose from to read for you all! :giggle:

fantasy221 - February 21, 2008 03:52 AM (GMT)
I'd be interested in Society Girl - Sarah Mason. I looked for more but we already have a lot of the same books TBR!!

AM10000 - February 21, 2008 04:03 AM (GMT)
I know I don't have that many to choose from.. I've actually got around 925 TBR books around here, but I don't have them registered.. My bookcrossing shelf are mostly books I've gotten from others! I like to have a lot of unregistered so that it can be a big surprise what I offer in swaps..

jennannej - February 23, 2008 09:50 PM (GMT)
